Dato' Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Abdullah, known popularly as Cikgu Rahim,[1] is a Malaysian politician and is currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Kota Bharu constituency in Kelantan. He is a member of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition.[2]
Abdul Rahim is a former Speaker of the State Assembly of Kelantan.[3] He was elected to the federal seat of Kota Bharu in the 2008 election.[4] In 2000, he urged PAS to accept female candidates for general elections, a view that was later adopted by the party.[5]
